Need a bridge?
When you would need a bridge
Are you missing a tooth or teeth, and you want to bridge the gap? Then you can make use of a dental bridge.
How does it work?
Essentially, we make crowns to cover the teeth on either side of the gap. They are called the anchors of the bridge. Connected to these anchor crowns, is the false tooth (or teeth) called the pontic tooth. Together we call it a bridge.
What Mathee Dental Studio will do for you
First step, we prepare the teeth on either side of the missing tooth. So during your first visit to the dentist, we remove some of the enamel, creating space for the crown to be placed over the teeth. We take impressions of your teeth, and an expert dental technician builds the crowns, or the bridge.
During your two-week wait before the next step can take place, you’ll be given a temporary bridge, to provide protection for those exposed teeth and gums.
Two weeks later, we’ll try the new bridge, and ensure it fits snugly. Then it’s cemented permanently into position.
