When would you need a X-ray or exam?
For any dentist to know how healthy your mouth and teeth are, they are likely to have to undertake a dental exam and x-ray first. This should be done at least once a year.

Exams and x-rays are easy. And with the gentle approach that we’re known for at Mathee Dental Studio, we’ll check your teeth and gums, to ensure we have a holistic picture of your dental health. And of course, we’ll tell you what we’re doing all the way. If needs be, we’ll then take an x-ray, which helps us diagnose the problem. Once we have all the information provided by our exam and our x-rays, we can then develop a treatment plan to assist any problem areas you may be experiencing. Part of our very thorough full exam is the important oral cancer check. It is crucial to pick up changes in your mouth mucosa early to stop oral cancer from developing.
